This ho-hum guest bathroom was in need of a glow-up! I wanted to give this space some personality, some soft drama with a little glam. This transformation was accomplished with minimal changes that made a big impact.
Step 1: Giving the existing vanity a facelift. I sanded, primed and painted the body in a moody gray by SW Gauntlet Gray
Step 2: I decided to go bold and paint the ceiling in the same color as the vanity! This proved to actually make this small space feel more spacious by drawing the eye up. Then, hanging this beautiful large black and white, watercolor floral print wallpaper.
Step 4: Adding a wide board and batten design painted in SW Snowbound, one of my go to cool whites.
Step 5: Hanging a large black framed round mirror and finishing touches with matte black towel hooks and hand towel hoop.
I’m still trying to decide if I want some art or shelves on the wall above the toilet, I’ll update this post when I eventually make up my mind but for now I am extremely satisfied with this transformation. Thank you for stopping by and please let me know if you have any questions.
Love, Heidi
