Welcome, I’m Heidi, here you will take a journey with me (and my co-worker/husband), Andy through our home renovations. From total remodels to home decor and everything in-between. I’m a Southern California native but in September 2020 decided to take a leap of faith and discover the East Coast with my husband. Although we kept our home in Cali we purchased a home in the beautiful coastal town of Holly Ridge, NC and here is where I really honed in on my home design and renovations. Together, Andy and I use our abilities to create a home that we love to come home to, live in and host our family and friends.
In October 2023 we made the decision to move back to our California home because, well, it’s our true HOME. Along with this choice we knew that the home we have owned and loved for 20 years needed some updating and let’s be real, we’re not getting any younger and we want to make our space a place we can age in comfortably. So, you will be seeing some of our past renovations on our NC home and we will be taking you along on our journey of renovating our forever home in beautiful Encinitas, CA.
Flexible & Durable Style
As design esthetics change from year to year so does my eye for what sparks joy, therefore I often change wall color, furniture placement and decor but do my best to design spaces that will stand the test of time.
I want you to walk into our home and have it feel like it’s giving you a giant warm hug, an invitation to relax, play, eat and drink in all the beauty it beholds. I strive for a functional yet beautiful place where you can put your feet up, throw a party, have the dogs, kids, and adults play without fear of destruction. That being said, I design with durability, functionality and washability!
Beautification on a Budget
Budget is always important in our home renovations and whenever possible we do as much as our skills allow us to do it ourselves and we’re here to show you how we do it and encourage any questions you may have. I’m excited to have you here, let’s get started!
