Easy DIY Holiday Centerpiece with Natural Greenery

Sometimes the simplest decorating ideas are the prettiest. When it comes to holiday decorating, I love incorporating natural textures and greenery without making things feel overly fussy or formal.

For this easy holiday centerpiece, I used faux norfolk pine branches in a rustic ceramic vase. The combination of deep green foliage and a neutral container creates a look that feels festive without being over the top.

Putting It All Together

The assembly is super simple! Start by choosing a vessel of your choice and placing a piece of floral foam in the bottom.

Working from the outside in, begin inserting the stems into the foam, adding more until you achieve the fullness you like. I used 11 stems for this arrangement.

Once all your stems are in place, simply pull the branches downward, gently separating and fluffing them as you go to create a full, natural-looking shape. That’s it! A simple arrangement with a big impact and very little effort.

It’s an easy way to bring a little holiday warmth into your home, whether you’re decorating your dining table, kitchen island, or coffee table. Best of all, you can adapt the idea to fit your own style and use a container you already have on hand. Bonus, you can use this year after year!

And that’s it! You have a simple, versatile centerpiece that works beautifully throughout the fall and winter seasons. I love that there’s no need to change things up as the seasons transition, and since it’s made with faux greenery, you can pack it away and bring it out again year after year.

XOXO, Heidi
